Sickle Cell Symptom Recorder 1.01

Mount Sinai recently launched the Sickle Cell Symptom Recorder app, designed to enhance the monitoring of sickle cell disease from a patient-centric perspective. This application aims to provide users with a comprehensive understanding of their condition and symptoms, thereby promoting adherence to treatment regimens and empowering individuals to manage their health more effectively. Key features of the app include:

• A daily pain diary that enables users to track and identify patterns in their pain experiences
• Surveys designed to facilitate ongoing monitoring of both physical and mental well-being in collaboration with healthcare providers
• Access to vetted news and resources regarding sickle cell disease from reliable sources
• A messaging function for communication with healthcare providers*

*Please be aware that healthcare providers do not monitor messages daily. In urgent situations, it is advised to contact your provider directly by phone or call 911.

Currently, access to this app is limited to sickle cell patients who have been issued an enrollment ID by their Mount Sinai healthcare provider.
